Henna Stencil Set

Something exotic from the Maghreb...

Moroccan women have a fabulous tradition of adorning themsleves with elaborate henna designs. Before a wedding or other celebration, women get together and decorate hands, ankles, arms, calves. The henna lasts for days and is a beautiful and exotic part of this culture.

Although you can use these stencils to do some henna painting on yourself, I thought they might be great for collage, decoupage projects, stenciling walls and furniture...whatever crafty Etsyans can come up with.

This set of vinyl stencils is a deep rusty red color and includes two hands (8.75 inches in length), two ankles and feet (7.5 x 7 inches) and 7 other interesting pieces varying in size. They peel off easily and can be re-used.
