This colourful little girl's dress is made from deep torquoise drill cotton matched with a hand-printed fabric purchased in Zimbabwe.

The African fabric is a very good quality potato print. This a very labour-intensive form of fabric printing which was once common in Zimbabwe, but is very hard to find these days. It has been fully tested for colour-fastness and is a strong fabric which makes this a very strong little dress that will stand up to a lot of wear and machine washing.

The dress is high waisted with a fully lined bodice and blue buttons on the shoulder straps.

It is sized to fit a child of 2 to 3 years of age. The actual chest measurement is 62cm (24 1/2") and the length is 51cm (20") from shoulder to hem.

This is a one-of-a-kind dress that cannot be repeated. It is great worn solo in summer also works beautifully worn pinafore-style in cooler weather.
